Shows and Awards

September 2012 -- It's been a good month so far! I've won 3 awards: an award at a Plein Air painting event in Roanoke, an Award of Excellence at the Central VA Watercolor Guild Exhibition (a statewide show), and 1st Place in Watercolor at the League of Roanoke Artists Annual Exhibition.

I'll be in two outdoor shows in September: The 40th Annual Lynchburg Outdoor Art Show on Sept. 15th and "Art on the Asphalt" in downtown Roanoke on Sept. 28th. Then, it's off to Italy for 2 weeks of teaching!

May 12, 2012 -- I received the Best In Show Award at the outdoor show "Art On The Green" in Lexington, VA.

March, 2012 -- I received an Award Of Distinction in the 33rd Annual Virginia Watercolor Society Exhibition for my painting, 7a.m. on 5th Street.
